Our Social Services Department is there to answer your questions and provide you the best therapeutic care possible. In general, our Social Services Department provides psychosocial assessment, psycho-education, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Once admitted, you will be assigned a case manager who will complete a general psychosocial assessment. The case manager collaborates with your nurses, therapists, activities staff, and your physician to create a plan of your care and treatment. We have several qualified therapists who provide you with daily groups and periodic individual therapy. These groups are geared towards providing you with a safe place to express your feelings and teach you the coping skills to better deal with your mental illness or addiction. As part of your discharge planning, we will make all efforts to either reconnect you to your previous care provider or we will help you find another provider that will be able to meet your outpatient needs.
